The guarantee can only be excercised at the clinic where the work has been demonstrably done with prior notification to Bemdent of intention to exercise the guarantee.
The guarantee for implants is only valid if the clinics dentist completes the full treatment. Root canal treatment is not covered under this guarantee. Also, please note that teeth may suffer trauma during crown and/or bridgework treatment resulting in a need for a root canal treatment afterwards. The clinic will not be liable for any such unforeseen root canal treatment following preparation of teeth for crown and/or bridgework.
The clinics in some rare cases reserve the right to alter the length of the guarantee on a per patient basis dependent on health, life style and to some extent, age of the patient.
The guarantee does not include travelling and accommodation costs and only applies to remedial dental work.
The guarantee is only valid if our dentist completes the full work (places the crowns and / or bridges as well). Please note that the guarantee does not cover root canal treatments.
The guarantee will be reduced or invalidated if:
- If the patient does not visit a dentist for a routine check-up at least once a year.
- Oral hygiene is neglected.
- Dentist’s instructions are not followed
- Removable restoration such as partials dentures or full dentures are not kept and maintained properly
- The patient does not attend a dental practice for a check-ups at least once every 12 months
- The gum tissue or teeth bone is naturally declining
- A general illness is present which has an unfavourable effects on the chewing organ (e.g. diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis, after-condition excessive X-rays or chemotherapy)
Injury caused by accidents, sports or any third party.
